Nir Evron focuses on historical events and locations, on processes of recollection and questions of representation. The exhibition presents a trilogy of video and film surveying sites on the West Bank: one seemingly frozen in time; another—deserted in the midst of construction; and the third offering hope for a utopic regional future. Also screened are two films made in former detention facilities: a German sanatorium, locations in French Guiana and Devil’s Island.
