Through simple materials and a range of techniques, Verburg captures and recreates how light passes and illuminates, emphasizing formal elements of line, shape, and texture.
The result of experimentation and the confluence of planning and chance – the artist gives form to the fleeting and ephemeral experience of light as a means of representing the intangible.
